"Aoife" (pronounced ee-fah) or Eve is an Irish name meaning "beautiful" or "radiant."
Aoife is made from the softest, most supple leather, tanned to a rich burgundy color, reminiscent of the beauty of an autumn forest. A timeless classic exuding elegance and functionality, Aoife is shaped like a briefcase and is designed to be worn across the body for maximum comfort.
Inside Aoife is a burgundy cotton lining of the highest quality, finished with a slightly waxy coat to allow for easy cleaning, and two specially-designed, large zipped compartments. In the forward-most compartment is a cell phone pocket, several pen holders, a PDA or iPod pocket, "D" rings for keys and wallet, space for carrying your power supply, spare batteries, makeup, brush, and other "must-haves".
Also in the front compartment is a complimentary matching wallet (for the first 500 Aoife purchasers only), L 7" X H 4.5", with spaces for bills, coins, credit cards, and makeup. The wallet has an attached clip and can be affixed to a "D" ring in the front compartment of the Aoife.
In the rear compartment is a special section designed to hold file folders, writing pads, and other business paraphernalia. Furthest back is a zipped compartment with padded walls, padded flaps, and a Velcro closure to safely secure your laptop. In addition, 3 gel pads are strategically placed for maximum shock absorption. The compartment is easily zipped closed with a double-headed metal zipper.
There are two large internal zipped pockets for additional storage—one on the outside of the bag in back and one on the leather flap in front. Additionally, there are two zipped external pockets on the front of the bag, ideal for providing quick access to your cell phone, PDA, or iPod.
Aoife is carried with an exquisite triple burgundy cord and leather shoulder strap, and has small metal rivets at the bottom for protection of the base. Strap length is 43” and is non-adjustable. All metal hardware is an antique brass color and is lead-free.
